Privacy policy

This policy describes the data used to operate this website, respond to inquiries, protect the service, and handle privacy-rights requests.

Information-rights request process from receipt and identity check through record location, action, and acknowledgment
Privacy handling links collection purpose, record location, authorized action, and documented response.

New York Computer Forensics is a Global Digital Forensics website. Public forms collect only what GDF needs to respond, deliver it by email, and do not store a separate website copy.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for name, email, optional telephone and organization details, service interest, location, timing, and a matter summary. The privacy form asks for identity and contact details, jurisdiction, relationship, requested right, and supporting context. Do not submit evidence, government identification, medical records, credentials, payment information, or other sensitive material through a public form.

Automatic technical data

The hosting and security service may process IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device signals, referrer, security events, and diagnostic records needed to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the contact and privacy-rights pages to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. It may process the visitor's IP address, browser and device characteristics, interaction and security signals, page hostname, and a short-lived response token. The Worker validates that token before sending an email. GDF does not send the form-field content to Turnstile. Turnstile is an essential security function.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page use and performance. Cloudflare states that the service does not use cookies or localStorage, fingerprint individual visitors, track individuals across sites, or log query strings. GDF uses aggregate reports to improve site content and performance, not for advertising or automated decisions. Cloudflare retains unsampled beacon data for seven days and then aggregates it. Web Analytics dashboard reports are available for the previous six months.

Email delivery, recipients, and retention

Contact messages are delivered by email to GDF's lead team. Privacy requests are delivered to GDF's privacy mailbox. Authorized staff and service providers may process a message for its stated purpose. The website does not store a separate copy of either submission. Mailbox copies, correspondence, security logs, and business records are retained under GDF policies, applicable law, dispute needs, and legal holds, then deleted or de-identified when no longer required.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare hosts, secures, and delivers the site, supplies Turnstile and Web Analytics, and supports form-email delivery. Microsoft 365 may process delivered email. Other providers may support requested services after intake. GDF operates across the United States and internationally, so information may be processed outside the sender's state or country with measures appropriate to the service and applicable requirements.

Sales, sharing, advertising, and signals

The site does not sell personal information and does not use cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through these forms. Global Privacy Control signals are treated consistently with the site's no-sale and no-targeted-advertising design. If those practices change, this policy and the preference interface must be updated before the technology is enabled.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, restrict, object, port, withdraw consent, limit certain uses, or receive information about disclosures. Exceptions may apply, including security, privilege, contract, recordkeeping, dispute, and legal-hold needs. Submit a request through the privacy-rights form. GDF may need to verify identity and authority before acting.

Security and contact

GDF uses administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the information and service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Privacy questions and requests may be sent through the privacy-rights form or to info@evestigate.com. This policy is a technical and operational disclosure, not legal advice.
